Remote Learning
Read what our parents have to say
Not only did our schools quickly convert to remote learning, they maintained the rigorous structured curriculum families look for in our Catholic schools. Upon converting to online learning, we received feedback quickly, especially from families who saw the slow progress within their local school districts.
Thank you again for everything you do for the class and the children. I truly appreciate it, especially in times like this.

I am sure you are extremely busy with school and family but I wanted to send a quick note to express our appreciation to you, the teachers, and the entire SFXP community. It is amazing how seamless the transition to online learning has been. Our previous school system is still scrambling to try and pull things together and SFXP is already up and running.

No concerns. My daughter’s teacher have done an AMAZING job communicating and providing appropriate assignments. Also, the frequent communication from the Administration has been incredibly helpful and informative. Stay healthy and keep up the great work!

We are ahead of most public schools and their forward way of teaching during these times. For that I can’t speak any higher about how we are doing great. Yes some questions arise and yes some things I can’t teach them but together we will get through this.

Please let staff know that even though us parents are overwhelmed at times, we are SOO very grateful for all of the staff at St. Michael's and all you do!

Overall, the process of online learning has been easy and welcome. Our child appreciates using technology over worksheets.

I just had to let you know how truly remarkable it is what you and your staff have done in such a short amount of time. Obviously from an educational standpoint, it’s important to keep the instruction in place, but the structure and purpose this gives the kids during this time is equally important, I think.
– Caitlin A.
Many thanks and kudos to you and all for their hard work - students included! It really was a positive oasis with all we are dealing with now. The academics, community and focus really helps us muster on. Praying for all in these challenging times! Keep up the good work. We really appreciate all you do!
– Carolyn K. M.
I love how you break it down into days and what things need to be done on each day. It makes it sooo much easier for us parents to keep track of.
– Heather M.
Thanks for having everything under control. Your teachers are amazing!
– Helena A.
Thank you so much to the teachers and staff that worked so hard to make this transition seamless - I am amazed how organized Bishop Stang is!
– Joana S.
Good morning Mr. Shaughnessy, hope you are well. Thank you for all you and the teachers and staff are doing to keep our students learning and thriving... Eternally grateful for all you are doing.
– Jody S.
I just wanted to send you a quick note commending you and the entire staff at Bishop Stang for organizing and doing such a fantastic job in such a short amount of time. Bishop Stang is the only school in the area that I know of, both private and public, that was able to put this together last week.
– Julia A.
I can’t thank you enough for all the work that you have put in this week to help the middle school to continue learning during this difficult time. You are so dedicated and kind. We truly appreciate it.
– Kristina P.
I think it’s great the way you stay connected with your students. You make it such fun. Teachers are great at SJSJ
– Linda C.
You guys are doing awesome!! No down time, no extra weeks off, and we are all up and learning, Holy Trinity and the Diocese rocks, other kids are getting nothing and public schools are scrambling to figure it out...we are ahead of the curve and rocking it!!!
– Lisa L.
We see that both of our children are presently engaged in formal LEARNING, while our friends’ children are talking about board games and craft projects, we are again reminded that we made the right choice a decade+ ago. The family atmosphere and genuine caring of the faculty and staff has always been a primary reason to entrust our children’s education to Saint Josephs'.
– Steve P.
I just wanted to send a quick note of thanks to you and your staff. You have taken unchartered territory and made it seem like we’ve been doing e-learning regularly. I have welcomed the structure and consistency of a “normal” day in this unnerving time. It’s been a very positive experience and you all have been nothing short of amazing! Thank you!!!
– The Evans Family
Just a quick note to say how grateful we are for the structure, commitment and unbelievably speedy planning you have done and are doing for our son and all of the students at SJP. I cannot imagine what it would be like for Jack without the structure and interaction, even if it's just virtual.

Hi Mrs. Serra, I just wanted to thank you and your staff for all of your hard work creating the detailed going back to school plan with several options that make families comfortable. It was extremely well done and the approach and organization of it all is amazing. The first day morning drop off was well done and made me feel at peace with bringing the kids to school. I know they are in the best care and with the most sweet and loving teachers and staff there is! Thank you for taking their safety and education so seriously. We are blessed to be part of the SJSJ family! Appreciate all your leadership and thank you for making this transition into school a great one! Mrs. Marco has been so wonderful this past week as well. The kids love her already!
– Melinda B.
Good morning Nurse Anna! Nicholas and I would like to thank you again for your help with Izabella yesterday. We feel incredibly blessed to have caring individuals like you and the staff there to watch out for our little ones. Knowing that you were there for her yesterday, made today a little easier for the drop off! Thank you again and god bless!
– Laura C.

Well, St. Stan's is off to a great start. We had a really good first day. Fr. Tom and I were in front of school greeting the students and parents. Fr. Tom and I led morning prayer and greeted the students in each class. Teachers were on target with their lesson plans and interactions with their students. The nurse gave a demonstration in each class. on safety and health protocols. I heard from parents that the first day was one of the best they have experienced. Their child enjoyed the day, came home happy and excited for the year.

I just wanted to send out a quick note to say the 1st day back was amazing. I cannot remember the last time I was so excited to be in school. Parents were genuinely appreciative. They were respectful and grateful. The children were so happy to be back. I honestly wanted to cry seeing them in their rooms, in their uniforms, with their little masks. I knew it was going to be a great day but the blessings I received today were more than I could have asked for. This catholic school community continuously reinforces my faith. On a day like this I could not have been more proud to say I am a Catholic School Principal. I am sure you have heard from others....but I felt I needed to share. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and commitment to our schools, staff, children and our mission.
