St. Mary’s in Mansfield celebrates Catholic Schools Week with food drive

MANSFIELD – Saint Mary’s Catholic School in Mansfield recently celebrated Catholic Schools Week, Feb. 1 to 5.

The school  kicked off Catholic Schools Week with a live stream Mass on Feb. 1, at 8:45. It can be viewed with on the school’s Facebook page.

The school also held a week-long food drive project benefiting the local Hockomock Area YMCA. The Y and its partners have delivered more than 218,000 grab and go meals to children and adults and more than 22,500 bags of groceries in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Throughout the week, the school celebrated: “Our Community” with a Living Rosary, “Our Students” with a SPA Entertainment Virtual Music Technology Show and “Our Nation” by notes and cards for essential workers. The school also celebrated “Vocations” and “Faculty, Staff, and Volunteers.”
